Canadian Taco Ingredients
- 1 lb (500 g) ground beef
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
- 1 pkg Old El Paso™ Stuff Tacos Dinner Kit and Stand(contains taco shells, mild taco sauce and taco seasoning mix)
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) Canadian maple syrup
- 1 cup (250 mL) chopped tomatoes
- 2 cups (500 mL) shredded lettuce
- 1 cup (250 mL) shredded Canadian Cheddar cheese
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 6 slices crisp cooked bacon, coarsely chopped
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped fresh cilantro
Canadian Taco Cooking Steps
First have it in a big skillet, heat the oil over medium temperature or heat, cook the beef and the taco with seasoning mix, keep stirring occasionally for about 8 to 111 minutes, or keep stirring until its browned and cooked completely, then you go ahead and stir in maple syrup.
Take the beef mixture on a spoon into the taco shells, add it up with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, taco sauce, bacon, cilantro and prescribed green onion.
