History of Marble Slab Creamery
The Marble Slabs Creamery was first established back in 1983 by Sigmund Penn and Tom LePage. It started as a single unit selling ice cream in Houston with the name Cones & Cream.
Ronnie Hankamer introduced the franchising concept in 1986. From then on, the ice cream shop has never stopped growing. Entrepreneur gave it the 93rd place in its Franchise 500 in 2007.
Marble Slab Creamery Review
It may look like a coffee shop from outside, but that’s where the similarity ends. Inside, you’ll find a display containing all of the different flavors available. Picking just one is a challenge in itself.
You can choose from many of flavors. There is also an unlimited choice of toppings to suit your taste. If you’re an ice cream lover or simply someone with a sweet tooth, you’ll definitely keep coming back for more.
If it’s your first time to come in to a Marble Slab Creamery, try the classic vanilla ice cream. Top it with a mix of your favorite sweets to make it better suited to your taste.
There might be long lines every now and then, but the ice cream is well worth the wait. The staff is always accommodating and friendly so the experience should be a fun one.
