History of Jameson’s

The restaurant founded by Robert Jameson began serving chicken and ribs in 1990 as a take-out establishment. They started serving dine-in customers when they moved to New Jersey in 1998.

After almost three decades, Jameson’s only has one branch as it never planned to expand. It still stands in the same location since it moved in 1998.

Jameson’s Review

The interior of the restaurant is pretty plain; light blue walls with pictures, dark green chairs, and white hard plastic tables. But don’t let this fool you, the food is what it’s all about.

And right on cue, the meals here are cooked well. The meat easily falls of the bone, while the other items on the menu are really full of flavor. It is really worth the trip.

As cliché as it sounds, you must try the fried chicken and baby back ribs. You’ll be surprised how easy it is to separate the meat and how good it tastes. Do order the sweet potatoes as well as the mac n’ cheese to go with the meat.

The staff of Jameson’s Southern Cooking is very friendly and approachable. They are all eager to serve.
